My Child

Back in my younger days when I was running the streets and acting wild, I never thought that I'd be sitting here holding my child. Looking into eyes that closely resemble my own, amazed because years ago I was told that I may not live to see the days of being grown. Fortanely here I am cherishing the most amazing gift in the entire world, a beautiful, bright-eyed baby girl. I can't wait to watch her transform into a lovely young lady. No matter her age she will always be my little miracle baby. We'll have the relationship that me and my mother never had, we'll talk about everything: the ugly, the good and the bad. I vow to always be her friend but her parent first, I'll always be there for her when she falls down and nurture her when she's hurt. I'll always be there to encourage her with the advice she needs, every conversation we have will be adored dearly and all her secrets I will keep. That little girl means the world to me, It's been a blessing to watch her bloom into a blossom from a seed.
