My clothes are rugged
My clothes are rugged, and all my shoes torn, I toil the day, and I appear a pawn, But I have something in my heart; An eternal dawn. When I walk in darkness, I see light, When I traverse the alleys, I dispel fights. Within myself, ever intense. Nay! I chose to not to leave my folks alone. Supporting them with my blood, my being, I run the earth. No wonder my clothes get rugged, and all my shoes torn.
