My Dear Valley
My Dear Valley, Take me for the river through which you run The sun for finding you first thing upon the dawn At your coast, your cliffs, your bay of deep blue waters Clouds bask who could bare witness Blooming in an Azure bowl As days and seasons roll I am in your night sky as a tapestry of stars gazing The moon and snow shine in your winter valley Like diamonds I see your eyes in the shaded frost Your spring time wind smiles upon everything it touches In the summer you make me swoon Autumn leaves find the dear that tread your soul I've seen May I be there to watch your nature grow
