Oh my feelings That swirl and storm within me Twist like a brush on a canvas of heart Such a beautiful picture I see before me Much too beautiful, It burns my eyes You sold my love for a game of affection To another soul with a twisted tongue That sings of those things you like You are a leaf that has fallen on corrupted ground Far out of my reach now I pass like wind, I cannot pick you up Sorry my dear I weep like summer rain onto you The current takes me farther away There is no turning back, not now I wish and long for those moments When we were still one Believe me I do, still Always within your reach, but never touching Like ocean breeze that plays with your hair And kisses your skin, ever so gently, in grief Thank you for wonders and presents Of life you had given me I cherish those records of heart They don't lie Much like love doesn't lie Or does it?
