"My Eyes" *Revised*

Echo's of disaster whisper from the lips of death, crucifying the heart beating inside my chest, I breathe slower everyday, without you in my arms I'm lost on what to say, I love you...but words diminish how I feel, your the medic to this broken heart God has yet to heal, give me legs for this race, so I can melt like the sea when my eyes meet your face, a touch of lips vibrant and alive, I'll be content with forever if I can kiss you one time, sink in your embrace - as I drift off to Neverland where our love will never fade, why'd you leave me on my own, keeping my heart beating just below -the speed of sound, love so profound - true to it's color, blue like the soul of an early morning summer -sky, burnt from the heat in your eyes, stealing all my pain as it drives my lust insane, I'm so numb from your drug and I can't feel a thing, even the sting of my undying sadness, my lonesome madness, depressed and frustrated but utterly elated - by the warmth of your embrace, the rush of my heart beat as my eyes meet your face, an see something back, a little girl waiting for the world to cut her some slack, I'll stop there attack, protect you - keep you safe, hold my chest to your face, so you'll hear... bump bump, bump bump, bump bump, as we stare in each others souls and our two broken hearts then become whole... __________ I wrote this poem about the girl I want to spend my life with, I haven't met her yet but someday I will =)
