My First Attempt at Poetry

Roots spring deep into infertile ground, unrelentingly carving into the unknown. The meristem fixates steadily with one mission: Growth Imprinting a footprint, the fibrous feet subtly step downward. Subsurface movement, unnoticed by the unsuspecting observer, gains fervor with every stride. Unexpectedly, delicateness rises from the concealed, networking base. The rugged elements pound, but the arteries pump. Crooked necks gaze as the towering branches hover and sway with the strength of the rigid, flowing maturity. What once wobbled and faltered, now inspires awe. How foolish to mistrust the weak with intentions so pure, steadily pushing in the face of the denial of sustenance. Doubt the strength that lurks beneath or nurture in your belief. Nevertheless, it grows.
