My friend of misery.

Her hands were held out frustrated, like the arthritic dreams of a calligrapher, left to etch arcs on carbon-paper. She said she “spiraled in her own vortex”; was like “the June rains in Autumn", yet before her page her eloquence frayed. Whilst she knelt within the shade of her lachrymose pathos, She muttered “my heart is like a stained glass window, which invites shards of light to collapse on a nunnery’s polished floor.” In retort: Mistress-Machiavellian swung in her vacuum, like Dali’s clock, timeless but useless, as she hung on the wall. She felt the timid breeze of a sanguine-smile, rest upon her lips like a lovers call. Indifferent, she swatted at the air, for this sullen-silhouette; was her admonition! her lament! All for her parent’s recognition. ************************************************************ A little bit of verse to get my mind back into the swing of things and maybe a stern warning at those 'teen-artists' who in attempt at catharsis regurgitate the works of millions and millions of angst-ridden teens before them and do little but damage arts. I cannot and will not remain silent on the matter of poor poetry being passed off as invaluable, we ought to start rating with both our minds and hearts not simply our consciences. I shan't stand back and plot euphamisms so precisely that they appear pre-concieved of, about poetry which ought to remain leather bound and caged with a locked chest. I really would appreciate it if people started responding to my poems as if I never existed and all they met before them was the piece and its emotional produce, if you find fault in my structure do tell me, if you think my opinion misguided rectify my perspective with a counter-measure legitimized with rational thought and aimed at me such that I can learn.. NO more beating about the bush, we need a Peri or an Eck to help us with structure, a benhur or J-templin to pass on sage like wisdom and whats more we need them all to remain interested in the forum, to do that we need to encourage skillful writers to be brutally honest in their ratings... I would like to extend my hand in thanks to all those of you who have made a concerted effort to rate my poetry fairly and to follow your ratings with constructive criticism and or remarks which relate to the piece. Conversely, I wish to say “fuck off” to those of you you already in the pursuit of credits, if you feel that you need a few more arbitrary poetic-moneys to post another one of your dank and lifeless pieces please do so elsewhere, in fact if it were possible to simply rate your own work to accrue stars and ratings, then by all means I suggest you do so. I feel much relieved.
