My heart, my brain, and you my flower

They grab, and tug and pull the collars Yelling, screaming words so squalor. They punch and bite and scratch and fight Pointing fingers, which way is right. My heart it argues and does not budge Does not listen, and wants to trudge Over valleys, steep high mountains To meet its flower by their fountain. My brain is warning of rough terrains Of thirst, and hunger, lots of pains. Begs its friend to listen kindly Not to follow instincts blindly. “You speak of words I can not see You speak of feelings as a b c Your thought’s good, yet so shallow I might be young, but not callow. She makes me happy, makes me smile She is goodhearted thus worthwhile She is my smile, my joy, my bliss I long for her, her softest kiss. Thus, What are long roads and dark alleys What are mountains, oceans, valleys To overcome for what I feel All these emotion I sense are real.” I get your longing, I get your grief I’m your friend, thus before you leave Let me pack, you’ll need me too You may feel - thinking I still do And the only way to solve this Is to compromize and coexsist Hence let me hug you and let us go To find my friend the one you love. ****First draft, please comment good and bad all is appreciated
