My Immortal
I have died, with blood coursing through my veins. Passed on, only to be passed back. My life has ended time and time again. Then it begins once more. Gazing through the windows in my skull. I see every pass life I have lived. I am no longer a man, no longer myself. For I die only to be reborn No gun shall wound me, no blade can sever me. I am an unclaimed heap of flesh and blood. Beat me to death, exile me from life. I will return, scarred but alive. The graceful hand of a woman may tear my heart from my chest. It will continue to beat, until I come to claim it back. You cannot kill me, only slow me down. I will pull this dagger from its wound and my legs will carry me once again. Hatred has no effect, for I deny its existence. Take my last breath, I will breathe again. I am no devil, nor am I an angel. Im simply that which you cannot kill. Fear me not for I am not evil. Accept me if you will, not if you dare. As for those who claim to love me. I say this unto you... Never love me, never breathe. Don't forgive me, do not leave. Hate me with your love, love me non the less. Break me into shattered glass, then piece me to a whole. Love me with your hatred. Till I cannot breathe. Don't forgive me, never. For I will never leave. As for you who wish me dead. You cannot take my life. What you take is borrowed time, ill come to get it back. As you walk down that gravel street, I am that stone you kick aside. Look around you my friend, there are many more waiting to get in your way. Each one with my name. You can discard me down the street with your leather boot. I will wait there, for we shall meet again. I tell you once more. I am no devil, nor am I an angel. Im simply that which you cannot kill. I am My Immortal.
