My journey

My thoughts bound away in the zero gravity moonscape that is my mind. Giant, slow motion leaps taking me nowhere. Seeking a destination, a safe harbor, a place to rest my weary soul. Craters from large to small litter my advance. Evidence of the constant onslaught from everywhere - from no where. Heavy dust rises and falls in my wake. Remnants of the decay of memories long forgotten. Though, spied in the distance - a bright and shining star. Tiny, but eloquent in it's brillance. There, quickly expanding and growing - becoming itself. It's dazzling beauty eclipsing even the sun. I am beckoned to enter the white hot core of heressence. That which would mean certain death for another. I enter my rest and bathe in your warmth. Lying my weary spirit upon your breast.
