My last day
Morning sun chose to shy away, Dark a day it was My life ensconced in immortality, Such were the thoughts I thought. The wind screamed and made a sound, I felt it something wrote, By the time it was striking noon, I knew the evening’s end. That was the day in which I would breathe, My one last breath before I forever sleep, Today I shall in memories be lost, Today death shall have the last laugh, The was clearer, now it was, I took the respect as it came, Never was I lugubrious, never was death a shame, Thus the day that had begun, Was meeting its plan of destiny, Never was I in pain, Fear never of parting with friends For today which was a phlegmatic day, I realized isolation was not my fate, Those who had earlier breathed those who shall in future cease, I will meet in a world, which all of us never see. But curious men often invoke, Invoke my name, the body is no more As they saw my body still, I felt some hearts only wept, They knew we would all reunite, They knew such a day in future shall be.
