My Life in Boxes
Pack your life into boxes Time to move on again Soon all you'll have is memories Forgotten by all your friends Pack years of your life into a few boxes Seal them shut with tape Some parts may be lost Some may even break Blow dust off your old toys You have to give them away I never thought anything could hurt like this But still my smile must stay Do something you don't want to do Even though it's your last night here Maybe you're only crying Because you've had too many beers But maybe you're crying For something more than here Maybe I'm crying for my life I left behind 14 years Fuck it, I'll be forgotten I'm not so naïve As to think that my friends Will bother to remember me.
