My Prayer

Dear God I pray to find a match, A woman who’s right for me, Bestow upon me my perfect catch, If it is they will to be. Please bring a woman who’s got a brain, A girl who can use her wit, One not afraid to dance in the rain, A girl who’s healthy and fit, A woman to love who knows how to love, A woman of fiery passion, A girl like the angels of heaven above, A woman who knows about fashion. There’s just one thing more tonight I must ask, My prayer to you then is complete, If you would see fit to accomplish this task, Please promise these women won’t meet… (Okay, I know this is an old joke, but I thought it'd be fun to make it a little more lyrical. Not looking for much critical feedback. Just thought I'd remind you all that not EVERYTHING I write has to be so dreary)
