My Sunshine, My Pain
The last warm feelings wither in my heart, blood marks the way back. Clouds in my pregnant sky become sad, my dreams return before nightfall. Thoughts, sorted in alphabetical order, connote the coming of spring, the return of light in the goblet of your heart. Loneliness bleeds, black drops gouge white cheeks, fading breath needs too much air. Help me to find the unfinished confession at the bottom of my tears, let me feel a tomorrow lost within me. Black and white dreams dwell inside me, trappings that will pass with the last beat of my heart, that will suffer fulfilment among falling stars. My sunshine, my pain belong to your nightmares today. The words, though full of sadness, shine brighter than yesterday's moon, than a confused, chaotic fear. Let us learn to die slowly, without unnecessary desires.
