Natures Beast
Far down beneath the deep blue sea Tectonic plates gave birth to me Neither a daughter nor a son I sensed that I was born to run I had a force no one could quell I built up such a mighty swell And set off on my deadly way My lifespan would last just one day Thus powered by a seismic force I travelled fast and held my course With every mile I gathered pace Did not look back or leave a trace And guided by the devil’s hand Whilst riding high, I sighted land Then with a loud and mighty roar I crashed upon the sandy shore And stripped the land of vegetation Wreaked enormous devastation Tore through many peoples lives Killed their children, killed their wives For many innocents were drowned Before I soaked into the ground Thus died the beast they could not tame Tsunami was my given name
