Neverending Silence
As I silently watch in the late afternoon breeze. Autumn's flowers float in current and long forgotten memories. Scared thoughts waver then flee the gaping maw. Teeth of despair and hopelessness where darkness is the law. Was there ever a reason? To hope? To love? To take a chance. I will never know for fear. Of pain. To speak my heart.
