Night By The Lake
Night By The Lake As I lay here gazing, at the crystal constellations of the night encrusted in jet-black velvet, twinkling triumphantly in might, I write. As I lay here gazing, at the majestic pearl-white swan in all her glory elegantly paddling, rippling, taking flight, stunned by her nocturnal beauty. I write. As I lay here gazing, at the pretty, pungent petals of the glade, dancing and swaying with fragrant aromas wafting in the cool and calming breeze of nights shade, I write. As I lay here gazing, nocturnal as an owl, mouse or bat, phantom of this joyous utopia they call "night", loving its serene and dark immersion, a shaft deprived of light, I write. As I lay here gazing, wishing never to leave such a place, I am abruptly released from this ecstasy, due to the breaking of dawn, the suns petulant face. The blinding rays of days light.
