Night Shadows
Night shadows what beauty might you hide? Might it be terror that lurks in the absence of light? A fear of that within your realm, a to me unreasonable fright. Since I feel so at home in the shelter you provide. Night shadows what horrors might you hide? Might it be that which scares me during daylight? Then I beg of you, shadows take me with you when morning arrives. ‘Cause I truly am terrified of exposure and the most judging of eyes. Night shadows why do you flee in the presence of light? How can it scare you when it needs a source to incite? I do not understand since you can be conjured without. Such demons of thought, the reason we met you and I. Night shadows please tell, what place beyond existence you reside? Say, so I might know of which place to think, when I feel left behind. I cannot but imagine a place as such, a realm in which all thoughts thrive. A place of inner calm, where demons of the everyday can nought but die. Night shadows the gratitude I owe, cannot with words be described. You bestowed onto me a sanctuary, in which judgement met its demise. A place of growth where expectations could safely be defied. I owe much to you shadows of night, dedicated to prepare one for the many struggles of life.

I am simply put a lost soul coming to terms with the sometimes harsh realties of life. Learing the complex intricacies of world we live by trying to understad both the beauty and brutishness of it all.
