night sky
night sky in the brilliance of darkness my face turns upward to clouds, illuminated by moon’s full light. they appear as tufts of tarnished silver in the otherwise clear, black, night sky; and stars as lighted pegs, on which to hang the rope, if i could but lasso one. i feel, as must have Andromeda, whilst chained to a rock by the sea, though no Perseus shall ride my way, therefore, i am unable to imagine what my end might resemble. ©tlp 2010
