Dreaming as I slept last night, The creak of rope, and sailsso white, A wooden wheel,You by My side, My sleeping smile,an ocean wide. Aboard a ship,a course we steer, Wind was calm and weather clear. A voyage of love, discovery, Treasure, adventure,You and Me. , We saileda sea of happiness, For sometime, its hard to guess. Horizon paintedwithanisle, Decided we wouldcamp a while. X marks the spot,I took Your hand, Wrote our names, upon the sand. Treasure maps by fire light, I found My treasure, held You tight. The ships bell tolled, set me free, Alarmed,I woke, reality. An empty pillow, cold and still, Disgardedbottle and a pill. My Wife,My love My empty heart, It bleeds each day that we're apart. A cruel twist,of fate and time, Tore Your loving hand from Mine. Just memories,of days gone by, A million questions, each one "why" Close My eyes,to see Your face, A wake of tears, the ship,no trace.
