Night watch
A double-strength and a fistful of Forget-Me-Nots. Watching raindrops fall or are they tear drops splashed on crumpled, corrugated iron? Lights come at me from all directions in this anonymous darkness. A shimmer of startling blue as someone else’s distress call is answered. It’s the way of the world and it’s OK. We’re in the light-blue apparently; but don’t extinguish the lamp beyond the leaded lights just yet.
