Nightlife Wildlife
As dusk falls Across the meadow a pale moon rises Lunar shadows slowly move Portraying themselves as fake sundials A tawny owl hoot echo's across the valley night air Just to show that there is night life out there Slowly you can feel a slight chill in the air If you hear the bushes rustle A fox or a badger might be out of sight in there Then as the owl hoots away Trying its best to attract a mate Without the thought of catching prey The curlew sound in the distance Just to show that during the night he also is out there Waking down the valley to where there's a waterway To where the elusive otters play If you are lucky you might see them once or twice But never in the light of day If you are prepared to sacrifice some sleep Go down into the valley at night You may be lucky to hear some of the wildlife though you wont see any of them For they stay out of sight during the day light

I have a mental health illness and I was a inpatient in a private secure mental health hospital not because i was a danger to the public but because i myself was the only person who was in danger from me was myself and that will reflect in my poetry...
