Nightmare?
Atop this roof the wind bites my skin. How did I get here I wondered as I turn realizing that there is no door. Walking to the edge I see that this is no ordinary roof. The building was gone, my feet were planted on a slab of concrete floating in the air and below an endless sea of vast emptyness. I turn to find three doors the first opens to a room filled with gothic clowns that seemed to be taunting me. I slam it shut and continue with my curiosity. The second sends a shock through me, the pain not unlike a thousand needles finding there way through my pores. The third door opened to a perch reluctently I step out. The door behind me disapeers and I am trapped. I think to myself how can this happen. Slowly the perch started disapaiting inward toward my feet. I had nowere to go,I replayed my frail existance and thought, this can't be the end, I was going to die before I ever lived. Finaly the perch gave way and I began to fall downward. The farther I fell the more I felt the warmth of the bottom, a bottom I could not see. It got hotter and I began to feel the flesh burning from my skin. I can see an orange glow at the bottom. I let out a loud yelp and I awake in a cold sweat, it was only a nightmare I gasped in relief, but then.... my cell phone rang and the voice on the other end said Welcome to Hell.
