Nine Eleven, quo vadis?

The Nine Eleven horror blood bath... More global terror, its grim aftermath! Though the Taliban routed in Afghanistan, More attacks on its neighbour, to wit Pakistan! Iraq's cynical change of regime... Just more chaos, violence supreme! Israel, Palestine...the Middle East; Timebomb most lethal, to say the least! Africa's flashpoints just won't go away: Seems strife in Congo, Darfur here to stay! Chechin terror rears its ugly head, With hundreds of children in Beslan now dead! Bombs everywhere, Indonesia to Spain; Carnage, death and much needless pain! Al Qaeda, HAMAS, ETA and the rest... Callously murder in pursuit of their quest! Causes may differ, but methods the same, Attacks on the helpless, to kill or to maim! With forces of evil headlong on a roll, Some ask the question: is God in control? This issue was raised in church Sunday last, Not easy these days to be firm and steadfast! The scriptures convince me to have faith, waver not... For His unswerving love is the best shield we've got!
