No Good Or Bad

In this time of taking sides, Arguing over choices, good or bad, Right or wrong, yours or mine, I decided to leave the changing tide Our universe is filled with amazing things They are not good, they’re not bad, There is no morality behind their existence, They are simply there It is us who assign moral value Based on the actions with which we take Whether for good or for bad It is our story to make, The nuclear radiation that kills and maims, Produces the power we use everyday, Mustard gas that was made for war, Is now chemotherapy in the cancer ward There is no good or bad in what has been made Unless people decide to use it that way, So don’t blame things for the price you pay Take responsibility for the choice you made,
