No lifeguard
To find isolation is to find her amity, alone in the corner she is hurdled with an empty bottle as her companion. Drunk. Crimson drops stain the ivory floor.. Over flesh it flows, fast at first slowing as it moves away from its source. Her head is thumping.. The end draws nearer. The Guardian is nowhere to be found. She calls out his name, it is futile. Her touch grows weaker with every heartbeat. Light breaks through the window she sees it as it glistens on the lonely tear on her cheek. Envy fills her nearly lifeless body... It could escape her world so promptly. Be careful what you wish for... There seems to be no lifeguard on duty.
