No One
no one Thousands of children are dying each day No one gives a reason, no one wants to say As starvation and poverty in Africa abound No one says a word, no one makes a sound Nine million die each year, probably more No one is counting, no one keeps the score Hunger and misery sweep across the land No one really bothers, no one lends a hand With bellies all swollen and covered in flies No one there to feed them, no one even tries Vultures are watching, wait for them to die No one wonders how, no one wonders why Hot desert plains with tiny corpses strewn No one takes the lead, no one calls the tune Dead, rotting children lying in a burial pit No one really cares and no one gives a shit
