No one like Momma

I can still hear that soft, sweet voice when my momma spoke to me. She loved me like no one else and I could do no wrong indeed. As a baby, she nurtured me and She prayed for me constantly Her priority was to feed and care for me And she fulfilled her role very diligently. When I became a teenager She was always there for me As I dealt with life experiences. She always counseled me faithfully. Then I turned 21 years of age; I thought I had it all figured out Life's struggles were just beginning But momma was still there, no doubt. Now I have my own beautiful family Whom I loved with all my heart Momma offers her expertise regularly Who will we call when she departs? Momma is now in her heavenly home Looking down on me and my family All the precious counsel that she gave Will remain with us for all eternity.
