No One Will See (edited)
The past brings me to tears. The present will soon be shame. The future brings new fears, The blind is who I blame. So blind you are now-a-day With all your work to do Your caution is thrown away Along with "I love you"s. So many times I tried To be much more than me When deep, deep down inside I know no one will see. Why won't the sun rise up And save my life. Save me! Keep hearing "Son wise up." If done, no one will see. Everyone wore their blindfolds Unnoticed was my urge to cry. Now after years, my skin holds A desire. A will to die. When I'm gone, you see You'll open up your eyes By then, there will be no me Only my disguise.
