Nocturnal
When night falls The nocturnal creature crawls They wander all through the night With no clear destination in sight. They walk through your neighborhood With a nonchalant and carefree attitude. You can hear the noise in the night As they hurry before the rising sun-light. In the dark all you see are their beady eyes All you hear is their sharp and loud cries These creatures find food in your trash And they are unafraid of being dispatched. Sometimes I feel like I am a nocturnal too I walk around aimlessly thinking of things to do All night long inside the house, I pace the floor I'd rather be roaming the street than being indoors.
