The tendrils of my malnourished heart Hang dry Depraved of a pulse For incubus Met succubus Their lovers’ rivers Run dry Caught in the net of ache I writhe and battle My harpooned ocean Of imagination Threatens to swell And overcome The barren Wells of love Where words And bones once lay Malnourished heart Ache Let the earth flood your Threatening becoming
