Ocean Journey
Vanishing across a distant sea, my love so beautiful waved back at me. I was scared for her on the ocean so rough, and I prayed and I prayed that she would stay tough. For on the journey ahead was a danger of grand scale, a beast of great power with sharp teeth and a tail. The beast was of legend but I knew it was there, some said it was not but I said it’s just rare. As I paced the floor waiting for news, I decided to go after her so I put on some shoes. I bought a big boat and I hired a crew, I crafted a sword and a knife or two, and then I set sail on the ocean blue. With my crew at my side we battled the waves, as we approached the monsters home in the caves. And when we arrived we saw a ship wreck, It looked like my loves so we all went on deck. There was no one aboard so I began to fear, that my lass had been killed and the monster was near. So with the rage of a bull I yelled to my mates, “run with me to the cave and get the beasts head on a plate.” Then I ran with my crew through the caves great expanse, with the light from a torch and my hand on a lance. And when we reached the lair of the beast large and strong, We saw that we had been utterly wrong. There in the middle of the cave we were in, was my love and her crew and a dead beast within. My love was a hero for she had slain the beast, so in return for her valor we had a big feast. And then in the night with the arrival of her carriage, I built up the courage and asked for her hand in marriage. When she said yes I knew it would be, a love built on trust and a love for the sea. Then after the wedding so pretty and grand, we financed a boat and sailed off to a distant land. With the sunset behind us we had opened the door, to a life filled with action in which we would never be bored. And with another smile and wave we were off to explore, the mystery of the ocean and every distant shore.
