Of the Fox and the Juniper

Evergreen season by season The fox knows which bush it is For it is of the bitter sticky sweet stuff He sniffs at the air knowingly As he makes his approach for the grove He nudges the little bauble pips The very moment he finds them The smell is divine It wards away the insects Welcomes even the softest of animals Embracing it brushing with their fluff Warm colored pelts on the sides of the Junipers The bark of the glorious things Weaves in and out like sinew Elegantly flowing up and over each other Like Tesla's one two three vortices Of all things sly and herby The Fox and the Juniper stand out They make note of each other from afar The Juniper is not built for eating It rather shares with you its pleasant aroma And as for the meat eating habit of the fox The whole mean business would have made little sense Without being able to enjoy the caress of these trees And so we see that it is good to take note of the games we play Watching nature take place outside interacting in all kinds of ways Including the special relationship of the Fox and the Juniper
