Oh The Painful Work
The pain is twisting in my gut Seeing your eyes harden at me But you can be mad if you want, It’s my job to take care of thee Seeing you sick again, I imagine all the worst I have to do what is best Until the bad comes to an end, A dad’s work is never done For two or four legged little ones To be sure their healthy and safe It is worth all the pain.
