Old Man
Revive the old man decrepit Asleep by the window in the rocking chair His memories all hang on the wall The smell from his pipe still hangs in the air There never was her smiling picture In golden frame for all to see There never was the gentle patter And children here you'd never see With three words he told a story The saddest of any man When asked to speak his memory "I have none" is all he said Revive the old man decrepit while he still has time to live
