On lacy wings of finest silk

This poem was inspiredby a moth with the most delicate wings I've ever seen. They were literally lacy!!Enjoy, and thanks for taking the time to read it... Lacy wings of finest silk Nothing can disguise your beauty You are an embodiment of delicacy Beauty surrendered unto nature Unto you Oh, delicate queen of the wind Soar towards the light Flutter ever upwards on the dying breeze Lift your tiny face towards the sun Oh, creature of the night You fall like a feather Then lift again Up, up The wind beneath your wings of lace Carries you in it's tender hand You buckle to it's touch Spread your wings little moth And fly, Fly towards the sun You fine, delicate creature of darkness Ever upwards you shall soar On lacy wings of finest silk
