One Night Stand

With life in blinks and seconds passing by, What should we grab as we’re dragged off to die? What can be as true as death and birth? How shall we peel the fruits of granted mirth? I know so little of what renders true, Except we’re creatures, me and surely you, Both suckled from great nature’s fertile breast, Her laws are not ones we should taunt or test, So let us grab our pleasures by the flesh, Embrace our instincts, and with them enmesh, We all posses a thirst which we must quell, It burns inside like crimson fires of hell, I speak not of true love in the abstract, But carnal pleasures in their burning fact, Desires which have fueled both love and hate, Inspired poets, kings and verves innate, So let us thus abandon social stations, Forget decrees of rich imaginations, Lock eyes, strip of your fears and take their hand, If only for an hour, flee this land. P.S. Do not be lost and blinded by affection, Never forget the power of protection!
