One Way Love
One way Love The heart wants what it wants be that something or nothing at all a change of heart can be driven by circumstance a singular entity destined for a fall A love shared then unrequinted a hollowness engulfed in pain time standing still the scars timed and dated stark realisation things will never be the same again The cliche that time is a healer plenty more fish in the sea a bad hand from a unsympathetic dealer no comfort at all to me Other than the hurt is just memories a reminder of what was once good. My stomach rocks like a ship on stormy seas as the good times in my mind flood So forward I move leaving the past behind the pain no longer a cross to bare In search of a new love I hope to find the only question is she out there?
