Opium Smokers Lament

16 May 2011

Opium smokers lament The familiar scent wafts through the air, Meeting me like a forbidden embrace It is not the scent itself but a mischievous memory Playing with me like a mirage with a dusty wanderer.... It has been long since I was last sated, I wonder if our separation wounds on one side only Forbidden it is, but I crave no other... Burdened by the weight of the nights until our next uncertain meeting...
