Orphan
I don't have a mommy a daddy a brother I don't have a sister Or a relative of any other I don't have a big home With my own room or my own bed I don't have my own bike My own toys or my own pet I never get to feel my mommys touch Or hear my daddy's voice They'll never be able to talk to me And help me make the right choice I'll never have a Grandma Who cooks. And kisses me I'll never have A Grandpa Who loves and spoils me Whenever I hear the *boom* of thunder or see the lightning strike My mommy and daddy won't rush in To comfort me all night I'll never hear my mother sing Or hear my father pray I'll never get to cry in their arms When I've had a rough day I live in an orphanage With other girls like me See my parents passed away When I was only three I love the girls at the orphanage Really, they're so nice to me But sometimes I wish I had my parents So they could take care of me
