Our Great Nation

Whatever happen to our once great Nation? Is it over-run by deligation? Our legislators pass the laws, But do they really bennefit us at all? The politicians sit with their wallets fat, while our children starve in the street not caring who's republican or democrats. What about Social Security it's running out my friend you see. And what about the charities that you see that are suppose to be there for you and me? Were they there for the homeless mans fight, who laid in his box and died this night They take religion out of the schools but when god comes back what will they do? And what about neighbors that border your land? When in trouble will they still lend a hand? Now you may laugh, but you must see this nation was built by people like you and me.. So if we want it back we must take a stand... to get back what was once a great land.. Our Nation There was a lot more to this poem..Sadly I lost all my poems a year ago, This is all I could remember I will revise it if i remember more...
