Out of love

For all the times I: -Told you you were beautiful every day -Made you laugh, even if it was at my own expense -Cracked a bad joke, just to see you smile -Defended you, sometimes against myself -Caught your tears on my shoulder -Stayed up all night with you because you couldn't sleep -Made you breakfast in bed without you asking me to -Gave you space when you said you needed it -Wrapped my arms gently around you so that you would stay warm throughout the night -Bought you flowers to brighten your day after a hard days work -Made the bed while you were in the shower -Rubbed your back when you said you were in pain -Staying next to your bed when you were sick, feeding you chicken soup -Suprised you with Fudge because you mentioned it was your favorite treat -Put you first; before my friends, family, and myself -Bought you something you didn't ask for, because it made you smile when you held it -Bit my tongue because I hated upsetting you -Gave you my heart -Trusted your word over my own -Walked to wherever you were in the middle of the night because you didn't want to be alone -Left you a love note on your pillow before I left -Rubbed your feet, because you had been on them all day -Tried to get your attention while you were working, because seeing me alone made you smile -I kissed you twice instead on once, just to feel your lips one more time -Respected you For all of the times that I loved every aspect of your being, everything you stood for, and everything you would become... for all of the times I loved you with every once of my soul... Through all of this... you fell out of love with me... What else could I have done? Where did I go wrong? I did everything I could day in and day out to make sure you were as happy as you could possibly be. I honored you, I respected you..... I gave you my heart, my soul.. And you fell out of love with me..........................................................
