"paranoia"

Paranoia; my senses fail to grasp logic. heart beats race faster and each shadow becomes alive. the air that whispers by is like chilled fingers tickling up my spine. at the corner of my eye, I catch my own reflection. what was the other shape there? it's gone now, but I know I saw it there... waiting. a glimmer of light or something more...something dreadful. will it attack me from behind? facing my reflection, Unable to turn away because of this Paranoia.
