Passing moons

·Thabaknee

Long passed the Wolf moon With its howling wolves, As these eyes famish to Stare at your ravishing statute. Long passed the Snow moon With its harsh plunging snowflakes, As these hands itch to cup yours And feel the warmth they emanate. Long passed the Worm moon With the hoar that draped the dirt thaws, As these ears thirst at your tune That caresses the soul. How many more shall pass before I Heed your gentle pulse whispering "I'm safe"? As the Pink moon promptly approaches

You may see the world thru my words. You may see yourself thru my words. But mostly you may assume my poetry is about me. If a line kicks off the edge, imagine what a poem would do.
