past, present and futre
I remember the sunset colours, They were so serene. I looked into his beautiful eyes, They were like a starlit sky. I remember the laughs, the jokes There were so many smiles. The precious sparkly ring, Delicatly placed on my empty finger, It was beautiful, just as i dreamed. I remember that moment, It was the moment i felt complete. Now all i see is a dark coudy sky No hint of blue or yellow to be seen. A broken heart, like a cut that never heals. The tension before a storm Only that tension never leaves. He is gone, left without a word, The emptyness, the heartache, Will it ever go? The waves crash against the rocks, Like an angry bull that sees red. All i see now is an empty finger, My skin is so grey like a dark cloud. How will i ever survive! I see now, the future, Although the sky is still grey, I see a tiny hint of blue. The smiles are back, but not yet the laughter. My finger doesn't look so bare, But the emptyness is still there. Atlast the cut is starting to heal, And no longer does it bleed. The waves still crash into the rocks, But they embrace for change. The storm has been now, The tension has lifted. I feel peace inside, And one day i will feel complete.
