Peace in Longing
I like the image of you in my head calm, kind, with happy cheeks flushed red Much different from another whom I liked before But different’s not bad, of that I am sure Nothing will probably amount from this but I don’t mind, because I won’t miss the old amount of struggle and pain I truly don’t want that again I’m happy to sit, admiring from afar, Harbor my little crush like a firefly in a jar For I’ve found that I find peace in longing, So thank you for acting as my personal awning
