Peek outside
Be a dancing fowl Or a singing bird Be the beautiful heir Or the talented soul But, What is the point? Of being trained for flight… If all you'll do Is stay inside? Or, What if someday You end life’s page, Nowhere but, Inside your cage! I would, Rather be crow Struggling for food Lots will hate But that's okay. Maybe, I won't sing Like sweet robin Maybe my skills Prove nothing But, I will fly... Pushing my limits I will strive... Pursuing my dreams Surely I'll try... Till my hearts full fill. Maybe I’ll die Sooner than you! As silly as flying On an electric chain I might not have moved... Some mountain or hill But, I’ll bid good bye... Leaving, my pages full Now, I have no debts! Not till, last of my breath! I can shout to the world I’ve lived my life. I can smile and embrace The face of death! I can roar to the world I have no regrets. I simply, roar to this world I have NO REGRETS.
