bled dry the sun shoves back my eyelids the quiet waves of despair lap against my flames Constant and repetitive the quiet torture bled dry you cover me with your heavy blanket again and again bled dry Tireless and unfailing I lift the weight again and again bled dry when darkness falls I stand solitary left alone defenseless against the bare addiction
