Perennial
I waited for eternity and longer until a whole new life had taken root inside me, till its branches had grown stronger mature enough to bear and carry fruit I waited till its trunk was warm and steady and comforting to wrap my arms around and when I leant against it I felt ready to grow, with feet embedded in the ground I waited till the canopy above me was thick enough to offer shelter, shade; each leaf a gentle word from one who loved me which never lost its colour or decayed I sit beneath what life and I created and being here is all I need achieve One day, neither despondent, nor elated I’ll carve my name into its bark...and leave.

Poetry and Hums aren't things which you get, they're things which get you. And all you can do is go where they can find you. -- Winnie the Pooh
