Perfect poem

What is a perfect poem? Is it from the mind or from the soul? Should it be from the heart, is it aimed at the reader being sold? Is a poem written by ones own hand Meant for others, Or for you to understand? A play with words of riddles and rhymes, Something special that lay deep inside, Or something unique that came to mind. The joy, the sorrow, the fear, the lust, Emotions and ideas, hope and trust. Love and hate, philosophy and fate, A picture, a person, vision and pride, A story, a song, A dream, a nightmare, Or a passion gone wrong. Freedom enjoyed with endless expression, Meanings and opinions beyond all reason, But when the perfect words fall in place, Poetic freedom, a saving grace!

I live out in the bush veld away from society. I love art, writing songs and poetry, photography and music... and mindfulness. I feel a good way to free your soul of obstacles and uncertainties, and basically anything in life, is to express yourself...
